Stretching For Shin-Splints Exercises That You Should Avoid
As part of a good program to combat this injury, it's important to perform stretching for shin splints exercises as often as possible. When the shin muscles become quite tight there is a much higher chance that you're going to start experiencing pain on a regular basis, making it vital that you take action steps to cure this.
The following stretching for shin splints exercises are just what you need to put the pain behind you.
Calf Stretch
The first thing you should be doing to help strengthen the muscle around the leg is standing calf raises. This will be vital because the calf is such a predominant muscle in the lower leg that is used whenever you are running or walking.
As soon as it becomes tight there is a high chance that it will transfer over to the front of the shin bone, causing big problems there.
To perform a calf stretch, stand up so you're foot is propped against a wall and then slowly lean inwards. As you do you should start to feel a slight pull in the calf muscle, which is precisely what you're going for with this movement.
Toe Walks
Toe walks are also another good way to help reduce the tension on the front of the shin bone. To perform these you are going to stand on your tippy toes and then walk all the way across the room, trying to stay up there as best as possible. Once you're across the room, then walk normally back and repeat the process once again.
The more often you can do this stretching for shin splints exercise the easier you'll find it will be to maintain your balance and the stronger these shin muscles will get.
Toe Circles
Toe circles are also going to be important to do on a regular basis and are easy enough that you can do them while you're sitting at your desk at work. To perform the toe circles you basically just want to rotate the toe in a full circle for ten to fifteen times. Once that's finished, reverse the direction and then repeat with the other leg.
Rubber Band Extensions
Finally, rubber band extensions are another great stretching for shin splints exercise to perform regularly. They are going to work very well for strengthening the entire shin bone as well as help to reduce any tension forces that are acting.
To do them, simply place one end of a rubber band around your ankle and then tie another end of the rubber band to the end of a post or chair. Make sure there is a good amount of tension in the rubber band and then slowly begin flexing the foot towards you.
Repeat this process ten to fifteen times as well and then switch legs and repeat.
So be sure you're keeping these stretching for shin splints exercises in mind at all time. If you do you can expect the pain you are suffering from with this injury to be dramatically reduced and in time you should not have to deal with it any longer.

From Hippie Art, To Creative Fashion
Tie-dye is considered a fashion art form just like beading and embroidery. It is a practice that concentrates the tint color in the textiles by tying or folding them to create different shapes. Its origin started out in Asia with antique techniques in dying fabrics. It is highly associated with hippies, surfers and bohemians, but today, it reappears to combine with bracelets and other accessories of ethnic inspiration. Today it's not a trippy starburst rainbow; it has been replaced with irregular arcs and stripes often seen in cocktail dresses and even casual tops to combine with jeans, shorts or mini skirts. Tie Dye is also a popular look for a day out at the beach, whether in a skirt or a sarong, tie dye is often seen around the most famous beaches worldwide.
Nothing said "hippie" better than the psychedelic color explosion and unique designs from the old style of tie-dye; it is one of the most ancient forms of fabric design, by human manipulation. Dye can only penetrate loose fabric; it has to be as close to 100% cotton as possible since it does not stick to polyester. Just lock some sections by adding pins, tying fabric in knots or with rubber bands and this way, the dye cannot reach these parts of the fabric, therefore creating a rainbow of colors and a unique design.
Hippies included a little creativity by adding peace signs and hearts to their visual trippy designs. This technique became a hippie ritual since it was an anti-commercial "do it yourself" characterization of owned fashion. Today, designers are turning to this again, trying to own their designs and making them special so they can stay away from imitators or regular people who try to do it themselves so they can afford some shopping money.
Tie-Dye was reborn in the 80's when a new generation started wearing the shirts their parents wore when they were youngsters at Woodstock, other than shirts these included tie-dye sheets, socks, and bags, among other pieces. Tie-dye was and is still the style of choice for people who need a little psychedelic wardrobe to remember the old days, tie-dye will never die.
Now it's your turn to try some creativity with your wardrobe, look for your favorite shirt or dress, fabric dye, gloves, rubber bands and a bowl. Damp your clothes in water and fold it as if you were making a paper fan, continue doing this in other areas and hold them with a rubber band or a clothespin. Once you have gathered the sections to dye, place it in the bowl, put on your gloves and mix the dye in the bowl. Do the same thing in the other side, stirring your fabric so the dye penetrates well. You can leave it on for 24 hours, and then rinse with warm water and let air dry. Use a pack of cheap T-shirts for your first draft; you will get the hang of it.

Maternity Dress for Office Wear
For the first trimester of your pregnancy you will be able to make do with your regular office wear. Looking for a maternity dress yet does not come into play. If you do feel a bit of tightening, then you can leave the top button of you skirt or pant undone and cover it up by leaving your top untucked. Another thing you can do is loop a rubber band through the button hole and use this to hold your button in place. It will give you a feel needed inches.
The next stage of pregnancy is when you are not truly showing, but you know that you have put on weight and your clothes no longer fit you. Invest in belly bands that hold pants or skirts up even if unzipped. A good maternity dress at this time would be anything that is made of a slightly stretchy material - yoga pants in thick materials, low rise pants that sit below your navel and skirts or pants that come with tummy bands.
Your maternity dress can also be souped up with sweaters, cardigans, tunice, your husband's shirts and leggings. Each of these make for a great maternity dress when you are in the transitional period and are yet to have shared the news with your colleagues. Choose from fabrics that are non-binding like jersey material and clothes made of cotton, some knits and some viscose. Any material that stretches is good. These clothes also double up during the time you take to lose all the baby weight that you have accumulated.
If your work environment demands formal wear, then have a few key pieces in shades that are complimentary will help you have a good maternity dress to wear to office each day. Invest in a pant, skirt, tunic, shirt and a top. Each of these can be mixed and matched to create the kind of maternity dress you would be comfortable in the entire day. With the right kind of accessories, you will have a different look each day.
Add to these a few non-maternity dress items and you will be able to get a few more outfit combinations from them. These could be sweaters or even baggy tops. Of course, before you get into any of these, first knock the doors of friends and relatives who may have a maternity dress or two to give you. You will save significantly by doing this.
